SUMMER 2003 WAS SPENT SLACK LINING IN THE LOCAL PARK, THIS GAVE THEM A TASTE FOR THE STRESS FREE LIFESTYLE, A PLAN WAS HATCHED, TO BUNK OFF WORK FOR 9 MONTHS (OR AS LONG AS THE CASH LASTS.) THE PLAN, 1.SPEND THE SEASON IN FERNIE RELISHING THE POWDER DAYS! 2. STOCK UP FOR A TRIP DOWN THE BAJA PENINSULAR SURFING. 3. SURVIVING BAJA, THEY WILL TACKLE THE BEST CLIMBING AMERICA HAS TO OFFER.

Great photos of Elfin Lakes. I stayed in the hut there some years ago, but since it was still 5ft deep in snow we didn't really see the lake.

While you're in the area, I think you should climb St Vitus' Dance and Papoose 1. Nay, I insist on it. Also, you should consider the Angel's Crest is a splendid outing that tops out on the Chief at a moderate grade.
